Tell us about yourself:
Mr. Kenneth’s journey into the events industry is quite an interesting tale. He started his career in a corporate world. But suddenly one day 11 or 12 years back, his friends decided to get married and asked him to host the wedding. This was how he stepped into the business of weddings. He debuted quite well, and his friends were really impressed and that’s when they suggested him to consider a career in this line. “My friends told me that I have a flare in this, and I should consider a career in this”. But since he had a corporate job to dedicate to, he decided to join the wedding industry as a freelancer. After working as a freelancer for 5 years, he realized that jumping between 2 roles is quite hard. He one day met with an accident, and the cause of the accident was that his mind had too much pressure and tension. ”This is when I realized that I had to make a decision between the two”. This is when Mr. Kenneth decided to pursue his passion that lies in Wedding, and he opened up his own wedding planning firm.
“It was a beautiful journey so far. Every wedding I have done is quite beautiful and touching. Past 10 years I have never looked back.”
Your opinion about virtual event:
“It’s quite cool. All your meetings are via online. All you need is an empty room for a virtual wedding, so you save a lot on the logistics part. The only worry is the internet network. As a planner the stress level is higher in virtual weddings, because of technology. “
Opinion about virtual expo:
According to Mr. Kenneth, a wedding expo usually is a great place for the well known vendors to make great connections, and in the case of a newbie or a new comer, it’s a great place to get the exposure they want. “It’s a great platform to showcase yourself”.
But focusing on virtual expo, Mr. Kenneth says that a virtual expo doesn’t come with any physical restriction or limitation. Thus, for a shopper it’s a paradise. “They don’t have to travel, and they can access everything while being at the comfort and safety of their home. It’s totally going to be a whole new experience for everyone”.
Your opinion about Espousal
“Its an international event. It’s not only limited to India. I am excited to be part of such a huge international event. There will be best exhibitors and best experts at the espousal. This will be a good exposure for everyone!”
