Tell us about yourself
Mrs. Ashanti is a technological and digital geek who was one of the first thinkers of a virtual and digital world. She started off in the banking industry and was working there for a while, but soon left her job there because she wanted to start her own business. Attracted with the entire concept of social media, she wanted to do something in the realm of the digital sphere. “I wanted to do something with social media, and that’s when fb live was new”. That’s how her first business started.
Although her first business didn’t last long, it did pave the way for her journey towards combining the world of technology and digital with the world of events.
“My first business naturally expired like others. But people started asking me about how I did the things in my first business, and that’s how Events Mind was born. We have been working with digital media since then”.
At Events Mind, one of their primary work is to provide a lot of training to the corporates and companies regarding events digital skills. “We are doing a lot of work with companies regarding upskill of hybrid events”.
Your views on virtual events?
“Virtual events are here to stay. Face to face and in person events will be back, but why wouldn’t you take the extra leads? The world is not going to go less digital from here on. Its only going to increase more. Our Clients will keep asking for more data and analytics which is possible to do in a hybrid platform but not in an on ground event. Thus Hybrid and virtual events are here to stay”.
Your views on Wedding expos?
“I love a good wedding expo, who doesn’t? Now wedding expos have a great potential to be transformed into a hybrid event where there is a mix of different entertainment and multimedia to enrich the entire experience of everyone involved in the expo”.
Your views on Espousal?
“I love the fact that you guys have attempted to embrace something over virtual. You guys have found an innovative way to connect with your clients. I love the global element to this, because I love travelling and exploring different cultures. This will help interact with so many people and cultures around the world”.
