On Wednesday the 21st of August 2020, we had Mr.Abhishek Behani, Founder of Jodi Clickers, as he talks about him pioneering the concept of candid wedding photography, about collaborations, future of virtual events and much more. He joined in for a chat with Espousal partner Shikha Nahata.
Tell us about yourself
Quite interestingly, Mr. Abhishek’s company Jodi Clickers had started off in a wedding expo! “This was 8 years back. That time the entire concept of candid pictures was quite new”. Mr. Abhishek wanted to be a pioneer of a new concept such as candid photography in a wedding. With a prior experience of only 3 weddings before participating in the expo and pitching in this idea, he tells us that he was quite nervous while explaining this idea to his clients. “Back then we came up with the concept of collaborating pictures with words in the form of a coffee table book”.
For Mr. Abhishek and his firm, they closed their first deal in the expo itself and since then there’s been no looking back for him and for Jodi Clickers.
Your views on virtual events?
“I feel technology can be used extensively in business for its growth and adding value to their business. It will provide something special that other brands are not providing. This is the time we hug technology as brands, and promote it among our clients. Technology will help in taking marketing and branding to a whole new sphere”.
Your views on Espousal?
“Anything that is a first mover initiative excites me. Espousal is visually very appealing and attractive which is very important. I felt I was actually going through a real expo. It’s going to be a game changer. The analytical data that you will receive from this event, will help you get a good insight about so many crucial things”.
In continuation, he speaks about the advantage of participating in Espousal from the point of view of both clients and sellers. “From the point of view of clients, people can surf through the expo without any hassle at the comfort of their home. From the point of view of the sellers, we always talk about vocal for local, but here you guys are going to take local to global”.
